The Barossa Regional University Campus (BRUC) has reached a significant milestone, welcoming its 800th student since opening in 2018.
BRUC supports people across the Barossa Valley to access and succeed in higher education without having to leave home. For some students, that means exploring a pathway into university or further study. For others, it means staying on track while studying online, returning to study after time away, or building new skills for the next stage of work and life.
Reaching 800 students is a testament to the strength of the community that has grown around BRUC - from students and families through to schools, university partners, industry, community organisations and everyone who continues to champion local access to higher education.
The milestone also reflects the ongoing commitment of those who have supported BRUC's growth since its doors first opened: through referrals, encouragement and a shared belief that people should be able to pursue their study goals while staying connected to home, family, work and community.
With the 10th anniversary approaching in 2028, BRUC has now set its sights on the next milestone: 1,000 students.
