NCSEHE to lead development of National Regional University Centres Network

The National Centre for Student equity in Higher Education (NCSEHE) will be leading the development of a National Regional University Centres Network, alongside Geraldton Universities Centre (GUC) and the Country Universities Centre (CUC). The Network is being funded by the Australian Government Department of Education, Skills and Employment.

The Network will support a “community of practice” amongst all Regional University Centres (RUCs) in Australia, facilitating collaboration and ensuring Network activities are informed by the needs of RUC staff and stakeholders.

The initial establishment of the Network will include:

  • forming a RUC Network Advisory Committee with State representation

  • developing a RUC Network website for the RUCs and stakeholders

  • providing a point of contact/liaison for Centres to access advice and support

  • providing training and developing support materials.
