PKUC wins 2025 Rinehart Development of Northern Regional WA Award

After two consecutive years as a finalist, the Pilbara Kimberley Universities Centre (PKUC) has won the 2025 Rinehart Development of Northern Regional WA Award (Community Achievement Awards for Regional WA).

Established in 2002, the awards aim to encourage, acknowledge and reward the valuable contributions of individuals, communities and businesses across regional and rural Western Australia. They recognise and celebrate achievements that help strengthen and uplift regional communities.

PKUC was recognised for their work in transforming access to higher education in remote parts of WA, supporting over 2,000 students across several hubs since 2020. Chief executive Susan Grylls accepted the award on behalf of PKUC, saying they were proud of a win that recognised the hard work of the Pilbara and Kimberley communities.
